mini
mini is a capstone collection of drawings from each student (and teacher's :)) sketchbook developed throughout the semester. Beginning in the spring of 2019, it was turned into a zine and distributed to each student at semester's end. Digital formats can be found below:

In March of 2020, schools were shut down due to Covid-19 ripping its way throughout the world. I envisioned students filming a virtual "tour" of their sketchbooks, with screen grabs to be used as the pages and spreads. I hoped to create the third volume of mini (slated to be titled "mini vol. 3.19" as a nod to the current era) once more at semester's end, but could not manage to get things organized in all the upheaval. The following images were the only ones I managed to capture, and represent a brief idea and moment in time, both despairing and optimistic:
